Santiago Paulós
Santiago Paulós was born in 1983 in San Jose de Mayo, Uruguay (Santiago Paulos). The school he attended was Alvaro Amengual's drawing and painting studio (escape artist). Some awards he has received are the 2007 Antonio Gala Foundation scholarship and the 2004 First prize Batuz Foundation Sachsen and MTO (escape artist). He currently lives and works in his studio in Madrid, Spain (Santiago Paulos). His paintings are a prime example of expressionistic portraiture, and show a strong sense of emotion. He primarily uses oil paint on canvas (Santiago Paulos).
